Our Mission
To operate and promote career development and workplace preparation programs through active partnerships with the community and industry so that students learn skills and gain competency as they work toward their professional goals.
TRADART Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization devoted to the advancement of craftsmanship training with an emphasis on industry standards. TRADART Foundation believes that education should reflect the nobility and equality of both academic and vocational training studies.
To that end, concerned citizens, educators, and industry leaders in Santa Barbara, California join TRADART Foundation’s work dedicating themselves to salvaging, creating, and implementing skills training programs so students have an opportunity to learn marketable skills before they leave high school.
TRADART Foundation’s primary goal is to define and support the classes that teach said skills through a Career Technical Education Pathway that begins in junior high and extends through high school, community college, the world of work, and beyond.
